Disco style

Disco style
   Clothing worn by men and women inspired by the disco music craze of the 1970s. Synthetic fabrics, satin, polyester, nylon, and velvet abounded. The movie Saturday Night Fever (1977) starring John Travolta immortalized the era, especially for mens-wear, with polyester bell-bottoms, bright floral body shirts with wide butterfly collars, white three-piece suits, and platform shoes.
